Excursions

Led by Duane Caldwell

Please arrive by 11:30 a.m.
Tour starts at Noon

Public museums typically stress that evolution explains the age of the Earth, the Earth’s geology and fossils, how life came to be, and so much more. Take a look at the evidence with Duane Caldwell, at the Chicago Field Museum!

His training includes certification as a Biblical Creation Ministry Professional and Tour Guide by the International Association for Creation, and by Genesis Apologetics. Check out his website Rational Faith.

Dave Woetzel – November 2026

 November 7, 9 & 10, 2026

The Bible talks frequently about GIANTS, and they figure prominently at multiple times in biblical history. But critics mock the idea of giant humans as a fairy tale. Dave’s presentation details the evidence from archaeology and paleontology, confirming again the Bible’s accounts are trustworthy. Moreover, the fact of giant organisms living in the distant past fits better within the creation model than in the evolution model

Please join us for this program at any of our three locations.

The Monday meeting will also be live-streamed. If you wish to participate in the livestream, request an invitation here.

Most people have been taught only the evolutionary viewpoint about dinosaurs, with its “Age of Reptiles” existing long before humans “evolved”. But what is the biblical viewpoint about dinosaurs? Come learn about the rapidly growing field of molecular paleontology, which paints a very different picture, one that lines up with the history recorded in Genesis.

Carl Kerby – Be Prepared Retreat – February 26-28, 2027

Conferences, Other Organizations, Presentations

Carl Kerby (MCF’s most popular speaker!) will lead Be Prepared, a Christian apologetics retreat, from February 26 to 28, 2027, for 6th grade through high-school youth.

Be Prepared is a weekend retreat that takes the Gospel seriously enough to make a case for it. Students are first equipped with solid apologetics — the “why” behind the Christian faith — before being challenged with the “what”:  the life-changing message of Jesus and how it shapes everyday life. Hit the mind first, then the heart follows.

Reasons for Hope and Walcamp will host the event at
Walcamp Outdoor Ministries
32653 Five Points Rd.
Kingston, IL  60145

Office: 815-784-5141
Email: office@walcamp.org

The cost to attend is $150 per person.

Sign up quickly, space is limited. More information is at
